Calling trainees for Stephen Ministry, now at Grace for 20 years
Calling all people who enjoy listening to others’ stories, those who have the gift of empathy, and those whose faith informs and strengthens their relationships with others!
This is the “last call” for the Stephen Ministry training session set to begin Thursday, September 30. Participants will learn about the art of listening, distinctively Christian caring, confidentiality, ministering to those experiencing grief, and so much more. Stephen Ministers are prepared to care for and support those going through tough times.

On a related note, 2010 marks the 20th year that the Stephen Ministry has been in place at Grace Lutheran
Church of La Grange. To celebrate, the church’s Stephen Ministry leaders and ministers will host coffee hour at 10 a.m., Sunday, September 12, in Fellowship Hall. Cake, refreshments and resources will be provided!
