Applications are now available for the church’s Music Apprenticeship and Scholarship Program for the 2010-2011 school year.
The program seeks to mentor, encourage and prepare high school musicians for increased participation and service in the worship and music life of the church. Past recipients have assisted with the Cherub Choir, played in the bell choir, served as cantors and played their instruments in worship as soloists, as part of ensembles and with choirs. Students work with Janet Kings, director of music ministries, to determine how they can use their musical gifts to serve the congregation.
Scholarship money is available to help pay for music lessons or music camps. To request an application, contact Janet Kings.
